ABOUT US

FWEA is a community organisation committed to making Waldorf education accessible to children and families on the South Coast.

We provide opportunities for families to experience Waldorf education and the ideas of Rudolf Steiner through learning, play and community.
We believe it is important to have a Waldorf educational community here on the Fleurieu — one that supports children to develop their creativity, curiosity, confidence and connection with others and the world around them.
Currently, FWEA provides playgroup opportunities and homeschool tutoring for school-aged children, with the aim of continuing to develop and expand Waldorf education opportunities for local families.

:: THANK YOU :: On Tuesday we gathered for our first little Parent Craft Workshop of the year and it was all kinds of wonderful. We crafted bookmarks, birthday crowns and bags using the needle felting technique and all creations came together wonderfully. Big love and gratitude to two of our Hakea parents, @nikiporter.naturopath ~ for hosting the workshop and Jayne & Baz for allowing us to stay cosy and warm using their @chopitandescapeit space. Huge thanks to those of you who joined us, we hope you enjoyed Needle Felting as much as we did. Our next Parent Craft Circle will be Tuesday, 08.09, 9.30am – 11.30 at @chopitandescapeit, where we will be crafting items for our Fleurieu Waldorf Craft shop and market stalls.
